The Northampton Directory

Northampton, Northamptonshire

Boot and shoe making remains a defining part of Northampton’s identity, alongside its broad Market Square, All Saints’ columned portico and Gothic Guildhall. The Northampton Directory connects businesses across this River Nene town, from Kingsthorpe, Duston and Abington to Weston Favell and Wootton. Its wider coverage includes Moulton, Brixworth, Long Buckby and Bugbrooke, reflecting the villages that use Northampton for work, shops and everyday services. Visitors can browse retailers, trades, food businesses, health services and community groups by category and area. Businesses can submit a free standard listing with a description, services, website link, contact options and image. Every submission is reviewed, with an optional FastTrack + Featured upgrade providing priority review and additional prominence. The local guides cover attractions, community contacts and shopping across Market Square, independent streets and retail parks. A rolling What’s On page offers dated event information and organiser links, alongside a guide to business promotion. Owners can maintain their details through an emailed edit link, while customers contact businesses directly without a commission charged by the directory.
